Truth and Reconciliation: Call for Curriculum-linked Resources

In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #62 and #63, the Ontario Ministry of Education has made Curriculum revisions for social studies, Grades 4-6 and history, Grades 7-8 and 10, which will address the need for:

  • mandatory, age-appropriate curriculum on residential schools and Treaties
  • Indigenous peoples’ historical and contemporary contributions to Canada
