PubMed is the search engine for the database MEDLINE maintained by NLM (United States National Library of Medicine. MEDLINE contains references on life sciences and biomedical topics.
♦ Open the Zotero library on your desktop before you search PubMed. Zotero will save your imported PubMed citations to the currently open folder in your library.
♦ When you have an article or a group of articles you would like to import into Zotero, either
1. Go to your browser toolbar and select the Zotero icon to the right of your search bar. You will see:
to import webpage metadata or a snapshot of the page.
a folder icon (indicates multiple references). Select the icon and then check the references you would like to import.
to import a book reference.

2. Pull up a PDF or a reference, then right-click and select Zotero Connector > Save to Zotero.
If these options don't work:
3. You can also save to the Clipboard and then import the reference into your Zotero library.

♦ When you find a relevant resource for your paper, select the Import to Mendeley icon in your browser .
♦ Login to Mendeley.
♦ Select all the articles you want to import into Mendeley.
♦ Choose the destination folder and Save.
♦ The article is automatically added to your Mendeley Web library with metadata, abstract and (if available) the PDF.
