Google Dataset Search is much like a standard search engine, but tailored to researchers. Instead of providing articles, webpages, images, etc., this Google engine provides only datasets related to the keyword(s) you enter in the search bar.

Kaggle is an open-access, community-run dataset hub. There are datasets available on nearly every topic imaginable. You can use the search bar or browse their collection by category. *You will need to create a free account with Kaggle to download any datasets.* Because Kaggle is an open-access hub (meaning anyone can create a dataset, similar to Wikipedia) the quality of datasets is not guaranteed.

<odesi> is an Ontario-based digital repository for social science data. It includes Statistics Canada public-use microdata (see the entry for Statistics Canada: Public Use Microdata under “Government Datasets”), public opinion poll data, and other research data. *Some datasets are not accessible directly through <odesi>* because Redeemer University does not subscribe to this service. For those datasets, you can use this service to identify the and then contact the data producer to obtain access to the data.
