How to find empirical studies on EBSCO databases:
1. Search your topic
2. On the left side of the page, select the tab, "Methodology"
3. Select the checkbox beside "empirical study"
Other Databases
On JSTOR and Canada Commons, there are no options to filter articles by their methodology so you will need to discern for yourself if it is an empirical study.
