BUS 461: Entrepreneurship: Finding Books

Finding Books on a Sample Topic, Child Consumers:

1. Search the library catalogue and find subject keywords by viewing the Description and looking at Subjects:

         Group together related  subject keywords, e.g. for the topic, Child Consumers:

Child : Consumers:
  • child
  • children
  • Consumer behavior
  • Consumption
  • Consumers
  • Materialism

2. Combine these terms into an Advanced Search. Group related terms in separate boxes.

  • The truncation symbol (*) finds results with any ending (e.g. consum* FINDS consumer, consumption, consumers)
  • AND finds results with BOTH terms (e.g. consumers AND children)
  • OR finds results with EITHER term (e.g. consumers OR materialism)
