History of Redeemer University: Chapel

Chapel has been the heart of Redeemer since its opening in 1982. For the first few years, the school would gather in the gymnasium of the old school building on Beach Blvd., but once Redeemer moved onto the Ancaster campus, they were able to make use of a beautiful, large auditorium to host Chapel services. 

Presently, Chapel takes place Wednesday mornings from 11:00am-12:00pm and it serves as a wonderful mid-week refresh. Students, faculty and staff can take an hour away from their week to come and gather together with Christ.

The focus of Chapel each year is directed by a specific theme that is chosen from a Bible verse or concept from Scripture (see Themes page).
